What is an MCP server for MSPs?
An MSP MCP server is a controlled bridge between AI assistants and the operational systems a managed service provider uses. It lets an authorized person ask an AI client to retrieve information or take a permitted action without copying provider credentials into the AI client.
Stackyapper provides one remote MCP endpoint. Administrators connect services, choose which workspaces and groups can use each tool, and apply additional confirmation to higher-impact actions. The AI client receives the approved result, not the underlying connection credential.
How Stackyapper works
- Connect a service. An administrator adds a supported provider connection to the appropriate workspace.
- Set exact access. Grant individual tools to a workspace, group, or person instead of exposing an entire API.
- Connect an AI client. Use the Stackyapper remote MCP endpoint from a supported client such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or Hatz AI.
- Ask across the approved stack. Stackyapper checks identity, workspace, tool grant, risk policy, and any required confirmation before routing the request.
- Review activity. Audit shows who used Stackyapper, which app and tool ran, the result, and when it happened.
How are MSP customers kept separate?
Each managed customer can have an isolated customer workspace with its own users, service connections, and tool grants. A customer workspace does not inherit access to the MSP’s internal workspace or to another customer’s systems.
Provider relationships and customer access policies are explicit. Credential ownership remains attached to the correct user or organization scope, and every tool call is resolved again in the selected workspace.

An app your customer runs is not on the list
Ask for it. Building and maintaining the integration is our work, not yours: there is no integration fee, no development effort on your side, and no need for you or your customer to have a relationship with the vendor. Requests are the main input into what gets built next, so the apps your customers actually run are the ones that move up the queue.
That matters for a proposal. You do not have to scope a managed AI offering around the apps that happen to exist today, and you do not have to tell a customer their line-of-business system is out of scope. Request an app with the platform name and what the customer needs to do with it, and we will come back with what the integration would cover.

Is Stackyapper an AI technician?
No. Stackyapper is the access and policy layer between AI clients and business systems. It does not replace the AI assistant or force an MSP to adopt one proprietary agent.
Your team chooses the AI client and workflow. Stackyapper supplies controlled service access, workspace isolation, protected credentials, tool-level policy, confirmation, and operational audit history.
