Cross-app workflow
ConnectWise PSA + Addigy MCP Apple alert triage
Correlate a service ticket with the Apple monitoring evidence Stackyapper currently reviews, while keeping device matching and connector limitations visible.
How can an MSP use ConnectWise PSA and Addigy with MCP?
An authorized AI client can read a ConnectWise PSA ticket and compare it with permitted Addigy received-monitoring-alert context for the same customer. The current public Addigy scope is monitoring alerts; this workflow does not claim full device inventory, scripting, or policy-management coverage.
What does each app contribute?
| App | Role in this workflow | Current public status |
|---|---|---|
| ConnectWise PSA | Ticket, company, and incident context | Available |
| Addigy | Permitted received Apple monitoring alert context | Available |
Recommended read-first workflow
- Select the authorized customer workspace and retrieve the ConnectWise ticket.
- Identify the affected Apple device or user from stable ticket evidence where available.
- Retrieve only the Addigy monitoring alerts relevant to the ticket.
- Compare alert timing and identifiers with the reported incident.
- Return confirmed matches, ambiguous matches, and the next technician decision.
- Use a separately permitted action for any PSA update; do not imply an Addigy remediation tool exists when it is not listed as available.
Questions the technician still owns
- Do the ticket and alert share a stable device or customer identifier?
- Did the alert occur within the incident window?
- Is the alert evidence causal, correlated, or merely coincidental?
- Does the next step require an Addigy capability that is not listed as available?
Guardrails that matter
- Do not infer a device match from a similar hostname alone.
- Limit the query to received monitoring alerts relevant to the ticket.
- State when the public connector scope cannot retrieve the evidence needed.
- Separate ticket updates from alert research and apply the appropriate permission.
Current availability
Both apps in this workflow are currently available. The linked app pages show their supported capabilities, credential ownership, and customer access. The exact tools each person can use still depend on workspace permissions.
