Billing and Cancellation Policy

This Policy applies to self-service subscriptions purchased from StackYapper through Stripe.

Subscriptions and processor

Symao Systems, doing business as StackYapper, is the seller and merchant responsible for the Service. Stripe is StackYapper’s payment processor and may process payment credentials, authentication, fraud signals, taxes, invoices, and receipts under Stripe’s terms and privacy policy. Prices, billing interval, included features, and quantity-based charges are shown before purchase.

Authorization and renewal

By starting a paid plan, you expressly authorize recurring charges to the payment method on file at the beginning of each monthly or annual billing period shown at checkout until cancellation. Your subscription renews automatically on that interval. Renewal does not by itself accept a later material version of the legal terms; when re-consent is required, an organization owner must accept the updated version after sign-in. Customer-workspace or directory quantities may be adjusted during a billing period as described at checkout; Stripe may prorate resulting charges or credits. You are responsible for keeping billing and payment information current.

Taxes and price changes

Prices exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. Customer is responsible for applicable sales, use, VAT, GST, withholding, or similar taxes other than taxes on StackYapper’s net income. We may change prices prospectively by giving notice before the next renewal to which the change applies.

Cancellation

An organization owner may cancel through the Stripe customer portal or by contacting legal@stackyapper.dev. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless the checkout, portal, or signed order states otherwise. Access continues through that date, subject to the Terms. Removing a connected customer or directory may change future quantity charges but does not automatically cancel the MSP base subscription.

Refunds and failed payments

Fees are non-refundable and non-creditable except where required by law, expressly stated at checkout, or approved by StackYapper in writing. Cancel before renewal to avoid the next charge. If a payment fails, we may retry it, ask you to update the payment method, restrict paid features, or suspend the account after reasonable notice. Disputing a valid charge does not cancel the subscription.

Trials, promotions, and enterprise orders

Promotions may have separate eligibility, duration, redemption, and expiration terms and cannot be combined unless stated. At the end of a trial, charges begin only if the checkout flow disclosed automatic conversion and a payment method was authorized. Signed order forms, annual invoices, negotiated enterprise pricing, service levels, and procurement terms control over this self-service Policy if they conflict.
