Stackyapper connects approved data from the systems your company already runs (service operations, security, documentation, backup, finance, and productivity) to the AI assistants your team already uses. Permissions, credentials, and audit history stay with you.
What is MCP, and why does it matter here?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way an AI assistant asks an outside system for information or an action. Stackyapper is an MCP server: a controlled bridge that lets an authorized person ask an AI client to reach a business system without copying that system’s credentials into the AI client.
Without something in between, giving an assistant useful access usually means pasting an API key into it. Stackyapper holds the connection instead, and hands back only the result a person was allowed to get.
The five steps
- Connect an app. An administrator selects a catalog app, enables a supported OpenAPI listing, or imports an OpenAPI schema in the appropriate workspace, then adds credentials and verifies the connection.
- Set exact access. Grant individual tools to a workspace, group, or person instead of exposing an entire API.
- Connect an AI client. Point a supported client at the Stackyapper remote MCP endpoint: Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code, or Hatz AI.
- Ask across the approved stack. Stackyapper checks identity, workspace, tool grant, risk policy, and any required confirmation before routing the request.
- Review activity. Audit shows who used Stackyapper, which app and tool ran, the result, and when it happened.
Who is it for?
Any company with data spread across the tools it runs on. Stackyapper starts with your own team and your own systems.

How access stays separated
Users, provider connections, MCP sessions, and audit records are resolved within one workspace, and every tool call is resolved again in the selected workspace. Review the full MCP access control and security model.
What can it connect to?
Explore 5,200+ integration listings across finance, sales, projects, service, security, and more in the app directory. You can connect catalog apps, supported OpenAPI listings, and your own OpenAPI schemas.
For a self-service connection, select an OpenAPI listing in your workspace or upload, paste, or link an OpenAPI schema. Stackyapper checks the supported tools and authentication method. Add your credentials, verify the connection, and choose who can use it.
The broader directory also includes MCP, CLI, and GraphQL listings. Self-service import currently supports OpenAPI, and incompatible operations stay inactive. Catalog apps display their Available or Beta status separately.
Is Stackyapper an AI assistant?
No. Stackyapper is the access and policy layer between AI clients and business systems. It does not replace your AI assistant or require you to adopt one proprietary agent.
Your team chooses the client and the workflow. Stackyapper supplies controlled service access, workspace isolation, protected credentials, tool-level policy, confirmation, and operational audit history.
